Madden Simulation Of Super Bowl 59

These days, it’s pretty much expected that any Super Bowl is going to be proceeded by a “Madden” simulation of the game. This year, CBS Sports set up the game with ten-minute quarters and then watched the magic unfold.

·The opening possessions saw both defenses in control

·An interception resulted in the Eagles getting the ball at the Kansas City 35-yard line, and a drive resulting in an J. Brown touchdown for a 7-0 Eagles lead

·Another touchdown pass, this time to Jahan Dotson, gave the Eagles a two-touchdown lead

·The Chiefs’ defense showed up next, with Chris Jones recovering a fumble, followed by a Xavier Worthy touchdown reception for a score of 14-7

·The Eagles answered that one with a one-yard touchdown run from Saquon Barkley, and the Eagles took a 21-7 lead into halftime

·The Eagles scored again in the third quarter thanks to a Hurts touchdown run making the score 28-7

·The Chiefs then started to claw their way back with a 21-point fourth quarter thanks to a touchdown connection with DeAndre Hopkins (28-14)

·That was followed by an Eagles field goal (31-14)

·The Chiefs continued to bring the offensive fire with two more touchdown receptions, one to Noah Gray, and another to Hollywood Brown…making the score 31-28

·The Eagles then recovered the onside kick, and ran the clock to secure a BIG GMAE win, with Hurts getting the MVP nod

You’ll have to wait until Sunday to see what happens for real.
