Two members of the current group The Circle are embracing their past.
Former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony on Thursday unveiled pages on Instagram and Facebook that are dedicated to their former band -- but only when Hagar was a part of it. "Mikey and I have been checking out our old vintage footage of stuff we've been doing over the years with Van Hagar and all that, and we found some of the coolest stuff," Hagar said in announcing the pages. "And we're digging and we're digging. We're finding nuggets every day and we're gonna share 'em with you."
Hagar joined the legendary group in 1985 following the departure of original lead singer David Lee Roth. He went on to perform on the group's four most successful albums, "5150," "OU812," "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" and "Balance." Guitarist Eddie Van Halen died last October after a battle with cancer.
