Now that CODA won Best Pictures at the Oscars, the film will return to theaters.
Beginning April 1, the movie will be in 600 theaters in the US.
The film, which tells the story of the only hearing member of a deaf family’s relationship with her parents and brother, will screen in over 600 U.S. locations with open captions. That will make the film accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing.
The film won three awards over the weekend for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur.
