This is CRAZY!
Florida police have opted to not press charges against a 5-year-old boy who put his teacher in the hospital.
The decision comes five days after the unidentified youth attacked a teacher at Pine Lakes Elementary School in Pembroke Pines, according to police rep Amanda Conwell. The student reportedly used his fists and feet to pummel the teacher, who was found sitting on the floor, "faint" and "dry heaving" after the assault, a police report reveals. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Conwell says.
Police on Monday decided against filing charges because the boy is "under the age of reasoning," Conwell says. However, she adds, "Things can change."
