Racial tensions have been running high for the past few weeks in Oakland. Earlier this week several noose's were found hanging from trees at Oakland's Lake Merritt park. They were removed and Mayor Libby Schaaf said that the act would be investigated as a hate crime. Today a fake body was found next to a noose at the park. The material was shaped like a human body and had a rope tied around its neck and torso, the #Oakland Police Department said. It was found on the ground next to an American flag. This incident is also being investigated.
