California is moving further into Phase 2. This Friday, California bars will have the chance to reopen. The ultimate decision still lies with each individual county but this is a big step. Gov. Gavin Newsom laid out the new protocols that bars will need to follow in a14-page guide.
Bars will definitely have a different feel, and a few new rules:
- 6 feet social distancing
- Customer screening for symptoms upon arrival
- Hand sanitizer
- People are still only supposed to sit with others from their own household
