This has been a very trying week. People are standing up for equality around the globe. That being said, we are still in the midst of a pandemic and if you have been out and about letting your voice be heard at a public gathering, protest or march then the CDC is "highly" recommending that you get tested for COVID-19 now.
Robert R. Redfield, the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said on Thursday that the protests could be a "Seeding Event" due to the fact that many of the protests have been in major cities, where the virus transmits faster. Redfield recommended those who have attended get tested within 3 to 7 days—the incubation period of the virus—and tell loved ones they were out in public.
