San Francisco international Airport is cracking down during this pandemic. SFO is considered an essential business which means that under the San Mateo County Health Order anyone on the premises must now wear a face covering.
“This means anybody that’s at SFO, anytime, whether they be an employee or customer, a traveler, even if you’re meeting someone in a baggage claim area, you’re expected to be wearing a facial covering while you’re at SFO,” San Francisco International Airport Spokesperson Doug Yakel said. Most airlines now require travelers to have some sort of facial covering on board airplanes as well.
