Motley Crue has come up with a way to appease fans who are frustrated over the band's failure to make a decision on whether their upcoming "Stadium Tour" will be called off. This Friday, the members of the band will be hosting a virtual viewing party for their Netflix biopic, "The Dirt."
Starting at 4 p.m. PST, Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars will be on Twitter, offering commentary on the film as the watch it on Netflix. They say several unnamed "special guests" will also drop by during the viewing event. Fans can participate by following the homesweethome hashtag, they say.
The announcement comes as fans continue awaiting the fate of the band's scheduled summer tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. As of Tuesday, the tour is "still a go," according to Lee.
The band tweeted the announcment, "Watch#TheDirtwith the Crüe & special guests on Netflix this Friday 5/15 at 4pm PST! Follow along with special commentary right here on Mötley Crüe's twitter using the hashtag#stayhomesweethome"
