Huey Lewis and the News fans have really been getting some quality content. From the new album Weather, to his upcoming conversation with Joel Selvin in San Francisco, and now his recent appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens L!ve with Andy Cohen.
Huey was a guest on the show along with comedian and SNL alum Rachel Dratch, on February 27th. During the interview, the musician talked about what it was like to be sandwiched between Michael Jackson and Cyndi Lauper and he revealed who he was the most starstruck by during the recording session.
He also discussed the group's Back to the Future song "The Power Love" which was nominated for "Best Original Song" at the 58th Academy Awards. The group ultimately lost the Oscar to Lionel Richie, but Huey shared that he knew they were going to lose before the show even started. Turns out being seated in the middle of the row at an awards show is a bad sign!
