U2 rocked their Christmas spirit in Las Vegas on December 15th when they performed the classic rock holiday song, 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' originally done by Darlene Love on Phil Spector's 1963 collection of Christmas songs.
Bono and the band put their version out in 1987 though they rarely sang it live. This year the audience at the Sphere was treated to seeing this song performed for the first time since 1987!
Darlene Love (who sang another holiday classic, 'All Alone On Christmas' in 1992 on the Home Alone soundtrack) says U2's cover of 'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' is her favorite.
