Scorpions will return with a new album early next year.
On Wednesday, the band announced Rock Believer, its 19th studio album, due out in February 2022.
The album was recorded in the band's hometown of Hannover, Germany. Frontman Klaus Meine says they went old school for the recording process: "We recorded the album as a band live in one room like we did in the 80's". The first single from Rock Believer, "Peacemaker", will be released on Oct. 21st.
The Scorpions do plan on touring with some stops in Europe next year and Wolfgang Van Halen's Mammoth WVH will be opening up for them.
Wolfgang and his band will join the German rock legends for a six-date swing next June, during Scorpions' Rock Believer tour.
