The former NFL player who was the subject of the Oscar-winning film "The Blind Side" is alleging the family who took him in as a teenager never adopted him.
Michael Oher filed a petition in Tennessee Monday, claiming Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy instead tricked him into signing a document that made them his conservators. He goes on to allege the Tuohys used that power to broker the deal for "The Blind Side" that paid them and their two birth children millions of dollars while he didn't receive anything. The legal filing says Oher discovered the alleged lie in February of this year. Oher has asked the court to end the conservatorship and ban the family from using his name and likeness.
Meanwhile, Sean Tuohy claims the allegations are "insulting." Tuohy claims that he never manipulated Oher into a conservatorship for personal gain but did so based on NCAA requirements for Oher to attend Ole Miss and he was given his share of 'The Blind Side' movie.
