Ian Clifford went on sick leave in 2008, and in 2013 he filed a grievance to complain that he hadn't received a raise or holiday pay since he's been out. He reportedly agreed to a “compromise agreement” that put him on the company’s disability plan, but now he’s suing IBM again for not receiving a raise in the 15 years he’s been on disability.
A judge has told him that he’s been given a “very substantial benefit” and dismissed his claim. Clifford receives just over $67,000 a year.
