A police officer in Colorado is on paid administrative leave after he parked his patrol car on a set of train tracks, leaving the woman who he pulled over inside the car who ended up getting hit by a train.
Police responded to reports of a road rage driver who was tailgating and brandishing a gun. They pulled over 20-year-old Yareni Rios-Gonzales as a suspect and then placed her in the back of the patrol car while they searched her car. However, they parked the patrol car on the tracks where she was then hit by a train and left with serious injuries.
