Alyssa Nakken made Major League Baseball history Tuesday night as the first female coach on the field in a regular-season game.
It happened in the third inning of the San Francisco Giant's 13-2 win over the San Diego Padres.
The 31-year-old took over as first base coach after San Francisco's Antoan Richardson got ejected.
Nakken, a former Sacramento State softball star, had already made history as the first full-time female coach in MLB when she was hired by the Giants in January of 2020.
