Ellen DeGeneres is hanging up her hat and canceling her show after her upcoming 19th season. The comedian said that the show is no longer a challenge for her. The ratings have also slipped following rumors of mistreatment of several staff members on set. DeGeneres confirmed the end of her long-running talk show via an announcement on May 12, and will explain more about the decision during a sit-down chat with Oprah Winfrey on DeGeneres‘s May 13th show.
