You always hear about people giving birth without knowing it but never 30,000 feet in the air. During a recent flight, Lavinia got the surprise of her life. She was flying from Utah to Hawaii and ended up in labor. Luckily there were 3 nurses and a doctor onboard to help her bring her new surprise into the world.
According to an Instagram post from People magazine, "Lavinia "Lavi" Mounga was in for quite the surprise during her flight from Salt Lake City to Honolulu. About halfway into the flight, Mounga, who didn't know she was pregnant, gave birth to her son Raymond at just 29 weeks. Luckily, a doctor and three neonatal intensive care nurses were also on board and were able to care for the baby safely using baby warmers made out of microwaved bottles and an Apple Watch to measure the newborn's heart rate. |📷: Hawaii Pacific Health"
