The CDC is backtracking on guidance that was recently released advising that COVID-19 could be airborne. CNN first reported the small change on the CDC website posted on Friday. The CDC added, "“through respiratory droplets or small particles, such as those in aerosols, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, sings, talks or breathes.”
Since the report the CDC has issued new guidance reverting back to their old statement that Covid-19 is thought to spread mainly between people in close contact — about 6 feet — and “through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.”
