They say that one man's trash is another mans treasure what your trash at home could actually be your treasure. If you are at home doing some spring cleaning while you are sheltered in place here's your opportunity to make some money. Of course there are the old standards like eBay and Craigslist where you can list your old items but there are also several other websites that you could use to sell your old stuff.
If you happen to have old clothing lying around try posting it for sale on Poshmark or Ruby Lane. These sights pay for slightly used clothing. A few other sites that offer cash for clothes are thredUP, Tradesy, LePrix and VarageSale.
If you want to get rid of the electronics that are just lying around try getting top dollar for them on Swappa, Glyde, or Gazelle. These sites give you a quote on your smartphone, laptop or tablet, and then you just send it to them and collect your payout.
Another place you might want to try and post your old items is on the Nextdoor app or the Facebook marketplace and if all else fails there's nothing like Craigslist or eBay to get rid of those items in your garage that have just been collecting dust.
