Here's The Lowdown On Grocery Store Restock Schedules
A lot of people have been clamoring to be the first in line to refill their supply of toilet paper or other random cleaning product. Here is a breakdown of the stores as well as their policies. Keep in mind things are changing constantly so call first or be first in line if you really want to grab the goods.
Toilet Paper- Most grocery stores stock the TP first thing in the morning and most stores are reporting that they usually sell out within the first hour the store is open. Keep in mind Walmart, Safeway, Albertsons and most other stores have set restrictions on purchases of toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, and other high demand products.
WALMART- 24-hr Walmarts are all now open from 6am-11pm. The best time to find the shelves full at Walmart is first thing in the morning.
COSTCO- Costco is getting daily truck shipments due to high demand. They restock before they open and throughout the day, however if you want hot ticket items arrive early. A friend of mine went and they were giving out numbers for specific items (a la black friday) so shoppers would know if they had a golden toilet paper ticket before they even got in the store. Pro Tip: Instacart orders can be made from Costco too!
TARGET- Usually Target gets shipments a few times a week but due to the demand they are getting daily shipments at most stores. Most high demand items are restocked every night.
TRADER JOES- TJ's gets fresh produce in every morning so you can get the best products,. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the best days to go.
