Off Work? Amazon & Safeway Are Hiring In The Bay Area NOW!
Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak there has been a surge in online shopping. Amazon announced that they are adding 100,000 new full-time and part-time positions across the country to keep up with the demand of all of the online shopping. Bay Area stand up if you need work just a heads up that the jobs will be at Amazon's fulfillment centers and its delivery network.
If you are off of work right now or just looking to make up some cash that you may need in the coming months check them out. Amazon also said that they are working to raise pay for hourly employees in warehouse and distribution roles through April. It will pay an additional $2 USD per hour above the base hourly rate of $15 or more.
Safeway also announced that they will be looking for workers due to the demand at their stores. Safeway is immediately hiring more than 2,000. Most of the job openings are available at more than 165 Bay Area locations. Positions include Safeway, Andronico’s, Pak ’N Save. Positions include deli, meat, bakery, produce, fuel stations and customer service departments, cashier or clerk. Full benefits come with positions so click below for the 411.
