Easy Recipe For DIY Hand Sanitizer
In this day and age it is very important to wash your hands with either soap and water, or an alcohol-based solution. In the past few weeks the sale of hand sanitizers has jumped over 1300%. If you can't get to a store or your local grocery mart is sold out check out this easy recipe to make your own. According to experts do-it-yourself sanitizers are just as effective and cheaper however, they must contain at least 60% alcohol, by volume, to work. Isopropyl alcohol (aka rubbing alcohol) or ethanol both work in the alcohol department.

Here's a list of required ingredients to make your own hand sanitizer:
2/3 cup of rubbing alcohol
1/3 cup aloe vera gel
5-10 drops of essential oil (optional)
Mixing bowl/ Spoon / Two-ounce spray bottle or liquid soap container
Directions: Pour the alcohol and aloe vera in a bowl and stir until blended. Add several drops of essential oil and stir to help mask the smell of alcohol. Use the funnel to pour eight ounces of the mixture into containers. Don't forget to mark your containers. Hand sanitizer doesn't kill all viruses, but it is effective against the coronavirus.
