David Byrne is shooting down rumors of a Talking Heads reunion in the works.
The rumors started when the Instagram account @talkingheadsofficial appeared this week, quickly garnering nearly 20,000 followers. However, it's looking like the account might be a fake. Byrne told Rolling Stone "I have never heard of this, I don't know what it is or who is doing it, so clearly it can't be an 'official' Talking Heads account". Fellow bandmembers Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz also denied a reunion was happening and say guitarist Jerry Harrison is the one behind the Instagram account, possibly to promote his upcoming Remain In Light 40th anniversary tour.
