Metallica has been very open and communicative with fans throughout the coronavirus pandemic. Now, the metal legends are spreading joy instead of germs.
Today, March 23rd, they announced #MetallicaMondays, a concert series that can be live streamed from their Youtube Channel and Facebook page. Many bands have been brainstorming ways they can stream live music sessions on Instagram, Youtube, etc. But its proven to be a difficult task, as putting on a production often requires more than 10 people, which the CDC warned against until they get the coronavirus under control.
What's great about #MetallicaMondays is that they will be hosting a weekly stream of previously recorded concerts. The first live stream will be of their epic Metallica: Live at Slane Castle (2019) in Ireland starting at 8pm.
Here are the band's official YouTube & Facebook pages for your streaming convenience!
